Kidney problems, swollen eyes, extreme stress...Question? - kidney problems and swollen tongue

twice, in moments of extreme emotional stress, even before the funeral, I woke up with swollen eyes. I was in the emergency room last week for a kidney stone. I do not know if it is approved or not. Still not good, and I have an appointment with the doctor, but I wonder what some of you know about kidney failure, perhaps, as it ascends the side of my mother's family and a relationship with kidney problems and swollen eyes.
