No woman at the stake during the Salem witch trials burned. Fourteen were hanged, though.

Of these, none of which witches. Everyone knows that the Salem witch trials were a farce, and the result of the greed of one man.

* Sigh. No women were burned alive in Salem, MA witch trials. Where there is always what is it?

19 people - women and men were hanged. One man was pressed to death for refusing to make a statement.

It will probably not real culprits in question. (A witch is a witch and a witch is a witch, BTW) Puritians These people were subjected to mass hysteria on many factors, and could not blame others and the use of "evidence" to convict the accused would be any courtroom today.

"There was really no reason for the Salem witch trials. A combination of events and factors that have contributed to a favorable climate for the birth and growth tests. A recent outbreak of smallpox, revocation of the Charter of the Massachusetts Bay Colony and Charles II in constant fear of Indian attacks fears among the first Puritans, that God punished him created. The fear of punishment have a fertile environment in which a case of witchcraft can be easily interpreted by the Puritans as the causeand God's wrath. Add this development, imagination, economic, political and people's fears, family feuds and religious factors of the time, it is easier to understand how the witch trials of Salem has grown and prospered for almost a whole year.

Anyone against the existing order of the day was marked by a witch or under the control of witches or spirits. Each house of drugs or bizarre behavior, you can get into trouble. Some were accused for political reasons.

And, as mentioned in another post here, the ergot poisoning in corn fields is a possible factor in the hysteria of Salem. Ergot contains toxic compounds, the former have hallucinations, but over time cause violent convulsions, madness and death. The weather and the storage of food at the time was suspected that there were by ergot in some of the surrounding farms Salem. Many reports of people and animals that have similarities to someone about drugs. In addition, the ergot poisoning in other parts of the world have been reported, often with the reports of witches and ghosts.

It is appalling that so many ignorant people when it comes to history.

The facts are as follows:

- Only 19 people died

- The defendants were hanged, not burned. Except for one - which was crushed

Witches - There is no evidence that all defendants who were executed or were real, and they were really relieved

- There are a number of taxpayers liable to hysteria: the kids are bored care utilization, superstition, hysteria / stress caused by anxiety after the attacks of Indians, for political reasons, a mushroom poisoning their crops of rye and had a similar effect to LSD (ergot).

Zero. Those who have suffered an infection, the harvest of rye in context.

The Christians of the time trials were the same as now atheists. They could prove nothing to rebut the logical and the dead. They call themselves Christians was simply a sign of the times, but the shortcomings were the inability to think beyond the apparent connection is essentially atheistic in its approach to understanding.

Just because you can not discredit words and reason with God in the text to Christianity say something stupid mistake in the English language, English.

No woman who really burned alive in North America ... All were hanged, with the exception of a woman who died during the interrogations.

But I do not think that women were witches .... the poor, unfortunate victims.

If any of you would want to read The Crucible ... Friction occurs, but there is a good idea of which would have the process can be.

Think you depend on it. Frankly, I have no idea who was in fact the practice of pagans. I have heard that it was more a political issue than anything else. Some women have "big mouths" and "necessary to mention to win." The religious hysteria was one of the best way forward.

Perhaps a few, but did not deserve.

EPE p * As for me is gone, that, regardless of whether they approved or denied, he still died.

Those who died were not deny witches, people who have died of their accreditation.

What things like this? What the hell is that the church is not free to believe in what they want, too.

It makes me very angry.

not that there was much truth there, but they were the brightest of the time in which we burn, the Christian people, if they say it was thanks to the witches who want to say, as some people are burned to the ground with the use of a stick and many other stupid things you did not think it was just another way that the law can take hold and do not kill the good people who have not for some reason

and as always, do not boil, until chicken eggs in

Kinowear not sure, but some people think that they falsely accused by his enemies. In any case, witchcraft is a superstition, and thus Christianity. It's just a terrible war between the superstition of the competition.

Do not burn you and that someone is in the witch trials of Salem, hung and ran over a man with a big stone.

Probably none of them really guilty.

Most of them were midwives or healers.

The word witch was burned used as an excuse for the Catholic Church to the delivery company.

Scheraza... said...

None, although some of these skills, people usually do not have (eg, psychological), which do no harm. I think that burning alive is one of the cruelest things ever
